Embroidery Beginner Workshop - 6 of May 2023

In this workshop you will learn how to plan, prepare and do your first embroidery piece. You can turn it into a wall hanging or pin cushion.

You can also bring a piece of broken clothing. You can learn to repair and mend your clothes like a hole in a jumper you love so much that it should be saved. You will embroider for example a flower over the hole. 

You can also join when you have already some experience and go together with Uma to a more advanced challenge like a complex drawing you designed. Uma will help you to choose the right yarn, needle and technique to bring your fantasy alive

What will happen

• Embroider the basic stitches like: running stitch, back stitch, french knot, lazy daisy and more Bordar alguns dos pontos básicos do bordado livre: Pé-de-flor, cadeia, caseado, caseado a cheio, margarida, nó francês, areia.
• Learn to understand which techniques when to use
• Learn how to prepare your embroider project.
• Learn how to finish your project
