Happening once a month on a Saturday 15.00 - 18.00h
Age range 7-12 years
The Kids Sewing Club is a brilliant way for children to be creative, learn a new skill, make new friends, improve hand-eye coordination and develop motor skills whilst having fun and making an own piece to be proud of. Ideal for those who want to learn or already love sewing.
We focus on making sewing accessible, safe and enjoyable!
The children are supervised at all times and for younger ones the fabric will be cut beforehand by the tutor.
Content
We’ll work on one project per session to be finished on the same day. The themes correspond to the seasons such as Christmas, summer or Halloween for instance. Every time the pace of the individual child will be considered: The speedy sewers will have the chance to work on another product and the slower ones get additional support.
In between we will play a game, eat, drink and listen to music.
